Attendance Certificates
Coming home tonight will be Outstanding Attendance Certificates. A report was created from Infinite Campus looking for each students attendance (exact minutes) and tardies. These numbers were added together and filtered for a grand total of 3 or fewer events. By using the exact minutes formula, which is what the state requires, the attendance for the certificate should match with the report card. If you have any questions about this process please contact the Mrs. Dunkle in the school office.
Kindergarten Yard Signs
The district has given us yard signs to advertise kindergarten registration for the next school year. If you have a yard that is in a prominent/visible location and would be willing to put a sign in your yard, please contact the school office at 993-0656.
Community Chili Supper
Don’t forget to attend the Annual Community Chili Supper! Friday, January 23, 5-7p.m. at the Ladue Horton Watkins High School Cafeteria. All Ladue families are invited! Cost is $6 per person in advance, $8 at the door. Ticket includes Chili and BBQ dinner, admission to the Ladue JV and Varsity Girls' basketball games, prizes and performances by the HS Pep band, Laduettes, Sparkle, Cheerleaders and more.
Student Dismissal Reminder
Parents, just a reminder that if you are picking up your child at the end of the day you need to wait outside until students are dismissed. It is important at this busy time to keep the hallways clear. Thank you for your cooperation.
After-School Class Sign-Ups
The After-School Class Sign-up forms will be going home with students today in their Friday Folder. Please note that classes are filled on a first come first serve basis, so please turn in your registration as soon as possible. If you are interested in volunteering during after-school classes please contact OB Parent, Olga Rynkiewicz at olgairy@yahoo.com.
Congratulations to Margaret Shockley!
Margaret Shockley, our very own 4th-grade teacher at Old Bonhomme Elementary School, will be receiving the Excellence in Education Award at the January 26, 2015, Board of Education meeting. Please feel free to come to the beginning of the meeting to see Margaret accept this well-deserved recognition!

Dear Old Bonhomme Students and Parents,
Our annual Valentine mailbox will soon be opening for business! Please read all the information carefully to help us run it successfully! Parents – please check your child’s cards before they bring them to school to be sure that they follow the guidelines.
In the spirit of community, kindergarten will once again be sponsoring a Valentine Post Office Service. This will be an opportunity to send Valentine cards to anybody in the school.
• Opening: Tuesday morning, February 3.
• Last pick-up will be Wednesday, February 11 at 12:00p.m. We need to close early in order to get all Valentines sorted and delivered!
• All Valentine cards must be in an envelope with only the “TO:” portion on it written in print.
Cards must have the recipient’s first and last name and class name (grade then teacher's initial) Example:
To: JohnDoe-KB
• Print writing only–NOCURSIVE!!!

•No candy is allowed! This is true for all Valentine cards, both in the school mailbox and within your room.
• The Post Office is for cards for children and teachers in other classrooms.
Parents, feel free to use the mailbox for your own personal Valentines. What could be more special than a Valentine from Mom or Dad, delivered to your son or daughter at school?
Please remember that Valentine's Day is for everyone! If your child brings Valentines on Thursday, February 12, please be sure that there is a valentine for each member of the class.
Classroom valentines will be distributed in the classroom – they should not go in the school mailbox. Thank you for your cooperation.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Ms. Boudinet, Ms. Toybes, Mrs. Lacy, and Ms. Clausen Kindergartners
