Announcements:
THANK YOU
A huge thank you to Lisa Hirshberg and her committee for working with Mrs. Roth on the Square One Art fundraiser!
Thanks to Suzanne Epstein-Lang and Stephanie Carpenter for all of their hard work in organizing the Giving Assembly this year. And also, thank you to Coach Jander, Senor Martin, and the fourth grade team for sorting and delivering all of the wonderful donations!
OB Dine Out- CPK
Join us on Tuesday, December 16, at California Pizza Kitchen for the next OB Dine Out Night! Look for more details on the flyer that was posted through Peachjar, or extra copies of the flyer are also available in the office.
LOST & FOUND
WARNING: All unclaimed Lost and Found items will be donated over Winter Break. So please be sure to stop by Lost and Found to check for any missing items!
LATE CHECK IN
Parents, when bringing your child in late to school please remember that they should check in at the office to receive their late slip and make a lunch choice so they are not marked absent for the day. It is also very disruptive to the classroom teacher when students are escorted to the classroom by the parent as they have begun teaching. So please be respectful of this and let your child walk down to the classroom on their own. Thank you for your cooperation.
15-16 KINDERGARTEN SCREENINGS
It is already that time of year! Kindergarten Screenings for the 2015-16 school year will begin on Monday, January 26. We will begin taking appointments when we return from Winter Break, January 5. Please get the word out to your friends and neighbors who have little ones that will be starting school in the Fall!
Get Ready for Socks and Sandwiches!
OB’s Annual Community Service Event to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is just around the corner! We will be donating
socks and sandwiches to area homeless shelters on Monday, January 19.

How can you do a little community service?
Now through January 16, those wishing to participate can donate new socks. The
new socks should be delivered to your child’s classroom. Please choose tube socks in large sizes for either men, women, or children.

Look for information in an upcoming newsletter about donating sandwich fixings and helping to make sandwiches to donate to area homeless shelters on Monday, January 19.
