Play Day at the Piece Playce
It's time to get back out to the Piece Playce! Come and play! You can learn more about recess at: obpe-ladueschools.blogspot.com
Note: This is not a drop-off event, a parent or guardian is required to be present. Siblings are welcome. It might be muddy -- dress appropriately. Questions? Contact Coach Jander at cjander@ladueschools.net.
New TA
Due to being over-sized in Kindergarten, the district has approved an additional TA through Spring Break to primarily work in Kindergarten. There is a possibility the TA may continue through the end of the year.
Counselor News
Do you have a pet? If so, we want to showcase your pet on our bulletin board. Please bring in a picture of your pet or email it to harnold@ladueschools.net. If possible, include your family in the photo so we know who it belongs to.
Parenting well is hard, but not impossible. This semester we are hosting a Strong Parent group at Old Bonhomme. We will share coffee and treats while using a program called The Strong Parent Project to facilitate our conversations, learn, and share parenting tips and strategies. Right now our group plans on meeting four times throughout the semester. On Saturday February 20, March 5, April 2, and April 16 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m in the OB Conference Room. You can commit to one or all of the sessions. If needed, child care will be provided.
Click here to enroll in the program.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
If you have a child that will be 5 years old before August 1, 2016, please contact Mrs. Dunkle in the school office to set up an appointment for a kindergarten screening, or call (314) 983-KIDS. Screenings will begin next week and spaces are filling up, so please call and book yours today!
