COUNSELOR NEWS
Friday, November 11 is Passport Night. During the day, everyone is encouraged to wear clothes that represent their culture, or red, white, and blue for Veteran’s Day. Last year, we started a Veteran's Day slide show. Click here to add to or revise your Veteran's Day Slide Show submission from last year. If you can not figure out how to add to or revise the slide show, email a photo of yourself or a loved one who served in the military, their name, who they are related to at our school and how to harnold@ladueschools.net.
GIVING ASSEMBLY
The Giving Assembly is set for Tuesday, 11/22.
This OB tradition benefits multiple organizations, helps families in need, & teaches our children the value of giving back to their community.
You can help by volunteering or donating. Please look for a flyer in your child's Friday folder with ways you can help.
In the meantime, we are looking for small, sturdy pre-assembled boxes to collect donations (Stitch Fix, Blue Apron, produce and printer paper boxes are ideal). If you have a box that you can give, please contact Suzanne @
s.e.lang@sbcglobal.net.
PASSPORT NIGHT
Come to Passport Night at Old Bonhomme Elementary and explore the whole world in one evening!
Experience culture from different countries
Taste new and interesting food and drinks
Watch fantastic entertainment
Learn about our diverse families at Old Bonhomme
Enjoy an educational event for kids and parents both!
Passport Night starts at 6 p.m. with entertainment in the gym at 7:30 p.m.

PTO NEWS
Girls On the Run... A few weekends ago, our Girls on the Run team volunteered at the GO Halloween Race. Their efforts earned them a $250 donation which they are donating to our PTO. Thank you Sophie and Amy Palatnick, Maya and Linda Varadachari, Grace, Anna and Heather Huewe, Alexandra Tsygankov and Edna Rodriguez, Peyton and Erika Bennack, and Madeline Awad for doing an amazingly kind act and representing Old Bonhomme.
Second Grade Social... Thank you Katie Scaggs for planning our second grade social this past Tuesday. The families had a great time with Serengeti Steve.
Trunk or Treat... Thank you to all the families and staff that participated in our first Trunk or Treat. The trunk decorations were fabulous and it would not have been such a successful event without you. A special thank you to the Dad’s Club for hosting and their committee of Mike Goellner, Nicole Ankele, Kelly Bock, Sydney Kaufman, and Xiaolin Wan. Congratulations to the Carpenter, Lang, and Rosen families, their trunk took “Best in Show!”

PARENT ADVISORY MEETING
Parent Advisory Town Hall Meeting is on Thursday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m. after the PTO meeting. We will be discussing diversity. Please RSVP and give your input by clicking here. We are looking forward to having a genuine organic conversation about diversity. Be looking for more information in next week's OB News.
