Announcements:
In November, we started a very important and meaningful discussion about diversity at our Old Bonhomme Parent Town Hall Advisory Meeting. We want to continue to provide opportunities to have these courageous conversations, reflect on them, and educate ourselves and the community about what we can do to make this a better place for all of our students. On Tuesday, February 21, we will hold another OB Parent Town Hall Advisory meeting. Between now and then there are several opportunities to meet and learn about others in our community.

Allergy Reminder
This is just a reminder to parents that all food served in the classrooms must first be approved by both the teacher and the school nurse. This is to ensure that it is safe for ALL students in the classroom. If a treat cannot be eaten by all children in the classroom, then it is not be allowed to be served. PTO Room Parents organize treats for holiday parties and have them approved in advance. No treats can be brought by parents or kids to be distributed at the party unless they have been approved by the Room Parents and the Nurse. No food, candy, or gum can be distributed attached to valentines. We appreciate your kindness, but must put the safety of our students first.

Interested in serving on the LEF’s planning event committee? We’d love to hear from you! Initial plans are in the works, and we’d love creative, energetic, dedicated volunteers to join us! Boots And Bling

Be sure to send in your reply cards for the Adult Fundraiser, Boots and Bling for Bonhomme. The event will be held on Saturday, January 21, at The Shack in Frontenac. There will be delicious food, a DJ, Sign-up Parties, Silent Auction items and more! We will also have an online auction starting on Monday, January 16, and ending on Friday, January 20.
