Announcements:
THANK YOU-
The OBPTO thanks Lisa Hirshberg and her committee for coordinating OB Picture Day. We appreciate all of the collar straightening and hair tidying that you did for our kiddos!
OB’s Got Character!
October's Character Word of the Month is RESPONSIBILITY. Old Bonhomme students are responsible at school for being in control of their bodies, being in control of their voices and doing their work. Consider sharing with your child what your responsibilities include during the day. Do you share any of the same responsibilities?
Did you know Metro Theater Company's new play, UnSORTed, is coming to Old Bonhomme? On October 9, we will be SORTing it out at OB! It's the SORT of performance we are all looking forward to! The Ladue Education Foundation, along with our OBPTO, are RESPONSIBLE for funding this extraordinary opportunity for OB! OB is very thankful for them accepting OB's grant request to bring this performance to our school! For more detailed information about the play, please visit Metro Theater's website at http://metrotheatercompany.org/performances/touring-productions/unsorted-2/. By the day of the performance at OB, all students will have participated in Pre- SORTing activities within individual classrooms and/or with their buddy classes. Ask your child about them! Consider having a SORT in your own home!
It would be SORT of exciting for our entire community to have the opportunity to see UnSORTed, wouldn't it? Thanks to the LEF and OBPTO, our community will have that opportunity! Stay tuned for the announcement of the date of our upcoming evening performance!!
Got Ladue Spirit? Consider showing your spirit during the Ladue Horton Watkins High School Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 11! The parade begins at 12p.m. at Ladue Middle School and ends at the High School parking lot. The parade route will go west on Conway Road and then south on Warson Road. All are encouraged to show their spirit along the parade route! Old Bonhomme fourth grade students have the opportunity to represent our school by walking in the parade. Permission slips were handed out to fourth graders last week, and were due to the office on Friday, October 3.
Lost & Found- With the weather turning colder, don’t forget to label your child’s things and to stop by the Lost and Found in the Primary Hallway to look for any missing items. Also, don’t forget to check the office for items like eyeglasses, cell phones, jewelry etc.
