OB’s Got Character! The Character Education Committee is proud to be sponsoring Character Council this year! Character Council is an opportunity for third and fourth grade student representatives to collaborate, plan and implement character education activities throughout the school. During third and fourth grade CARE time lessons this week, Mrs. Arnold will be educating students about Character Council opportunities, explaining to them how to apply if they are interested, and handing out applications. Any past Character Council members will need to reapply. Completed applications are due by September 24.
After-‐School Class Sign-‐ups-‐ Classes are filling up fast, so don’t forget to turn in your registration forms for the Fall After-School Classes!
Innisbrook News- The Innisbrook fundraiser for the Old Bonhomme PTO has concluded. We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our goal in both Innisbrook sales and the resulting profits that will go directly to the PTO. Our sales were over $5,000, and our PTO profit is approximately $2,400. Once all the payments are in, we will know the exact amount made for the OBPTO. To all who participated in this fundraiser, THANK YOU!! We tried Innisbrook as a replacement for the Entertainment Book fundraiser which has typically been held at the start of school each year, and we are very happy with the Innisbrook results. Your purchases will be delivered to the school in the first part of October, and we will communicate to you in early October the dates and times for product pick-up. We know there are a lot of efforts underway to raise funds for the OBPTO, and we appreciate whatever you choose to give, in whatever way is best for you and your family. Our OB School Community is AMAZING and so supportive of the PTO and its efforts. Thank you again for supporting the Innisbrook fundraiser and helping us surpass our goal. All proceeds will go to provide the great arts field trips, school events, performances, and activities for your children and our teachers that the PTO funds.
Next up.....Bowling for Bonhomme on October 18!! Hope to see you there!
Time to Eat and Run for Ladue Education- Registration is now open! Join us for breakfast on October 9, and follow up with the 'Due Run on October 11.
Both are wonderful ways to have fun and support the Ladue Education Foundation's mission of creating extraordinary possibilities for our next generation of leaders.
The LEF is made up of parents and community leaders who work together to support the crucial programs necessary for our students to stay competitive and become future business, economic and community leaders. This is done by providing grants for programs such as robotics, business plan competitions, math technology systems and library collections.
