The parade will begin at LMS at 12:00 p.m. The parade route goes west on Conway Road and then south on Warson Road. All are encouraged to show their spirit by cheering along the parade route!
Old Bonhomme fourth grade students have the exciting opportunity to represent our school by walking in the parade. Permission slips were sent home with fourth graders last week, and are due to the office by Tuesday, September 22 .

From the Counselor
We would like to welcome Mrs. Robinson to OB as a counseling intern. She is a graduate student at Lindenwood University and a proud OB parent. She will be at Old Bonhomme full time from September 21 to October 30, completing her internship hours. During this time, she will be working with Mrs. Arnold to deliver OB's Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program. She will meet with individuals, small groups, present classroom lessons, and attend meetings. You can learn more about the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program at OB by visiting my blog at http://obschoolcounseling.blogspot.com/.

Pulitzer Prize-winning Alumnus to Speak at LEF Breakfast
Photojournalist and 2006 Ladue Horton Watkins High School alumnus Ben Solomon is set to speak on September 25 at the Ladue Education Foundation’s Annual Breakfast. Ben and his team at The New York Times won the prize this year for their coverage of the Ebola Crisis in West Africa.
Come to the Breakfast on September 25 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac to hear Ben Solomon, Carol Weisman, and Dr. Donna Jahnke speak, and to learn more about the work of the LEF as it advances the excellence of the Ladue School District.
Follow it up on Saturday, September 26 at 8:30 a.m. with the ‘Due Run 4 Education 5K & 1- Mile Run/Walk. The fun starts at Ladue Horton Watkins High School and continues after with the Homecoming parade and festivities. Bring the whole family!

Parking Safety
Parents, for our students safety on the upper blacktop please be sure to only let your child out on the right-hand side of your vehicle. Also, please be cautious in the parking lot and pull forward all the way so more cars can fit in the lot. Thanks for your cooperation to keep our kids safe!

Lost & Found
It is that time of year! A lot of jackets are being left on the playground. Please remember to stop by Lost & Found and claim any “forgotten” items. Please label your child’s items as well, so lost items can easily be returned.

FREE Saint Louis Billikens Tickets!
The St. Louis University Athletics department has graciously donated 200 tickets to our school for two upcoming soccer matches happening at Hermann Stadium! Wednesday, September 30, come see the Men’s team take on the Indiana Hoosiers and Thursday, October 1, come see the Women’s squad face off against the Dayton Flyers. Both games start at 7 p.m. This is a great opportunity not only for our OB families and staff to attend, but also any soccer coaches that would like to take their soccer team to an exciting event! The tickets are first come, first serve, so please email Mrs. Rowe in the school office at lrowe@ladueschools.net with the quantity of tickets and specify which game you would like to attend.

Target Donation Update
Target has informed us that as of May 14, 2016, they will be ending their Take Charge of Education program, and therefore will no longer be sending a percentage of your purchases to the school of your choice. We appreciate your efforts to give back to Old Bonhomme, but wanted you to know this will no longer be necessary after this school year.
