Counselor News
Elementary is a time for students to become aware of different careers. The week of January 23, we are looking for parents and/or grandparents to come in and present about their career. You can sign up to present in your child's classroom or another classroom. If this time of year does not work out for you there will be another opportunity in April. Click on this link https://goo.gl/GUhkEc to learn more about this opportunity and sign up to participate. If you have any questions, contact our school counselor, Hayley Arnold, at 314-983-5546 or email harnold@ladueschools.net.
It's DUE Time!
Plan to join us on Friday, January 27 anytime between 5-7 p.m. to support our community and high school at the ANNUAL COMMUNITY BASKETBALL CHILI SUPPER!
$6.00 in advance (or $8.00 at the door) includes a chili and BBQ dinner as well as entrance to the Ladue Basketball games. Each school will have a banner up at the game, and we would love a great representation for O.B. this year! Basketball games will be played into the evening hours after the dinner. We hope you will consider coming out to this fun event! Fliers are available via Peach Jar for advance reservations. Wear your Ladue Blue and White and plan to have a FUN time!
FREE TICKETS!
As part of their community outreach program, Saint Louis University Athletics would like to offer OB complementary tickets to a few of their women’s basketball games. The tickets are for the following dates and will be handed out on a first come first serve basis:
December 21- SLU vs. Missouri
January 15- Blue-Out vs. Dayton
January 28- Pink-Out Breast Cancer Awareness Game vs. Fordham
Last year they saw a record crowd of nearly 10,000 people at our annual Pink-Out game, and hope to beat that record this year!
If interested please email
lrowe@ladueschools.net with the # of tickets and which game(s) you would like to attend. There are plenty to go around!

As a part of the Ladue Horton Watkins High School renovation currently underway, inscribed bricks will be placed at the beautiful new south entrance to LHWHS.
The Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) is making bricks available to students and families, alumni and community members, with funds going toward LEF’s capital campaign for the high school.
You can be a permanent part of the LHWHS renewed campus by purchasing a brick to commemorate a team, honor a teacher, remember a loved one, give your child a lasting graduation gift or simply celebrate your own years as a Ladue School District student!
Participate in Ladue Horton Watkins High School history and help us create a meaningful welcome
with your words connecting our past to our present and our future.
MAKES A GREAT GIFT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
Two choices are available: Small Commemorative Brick: (4” x 8”) $350 (or $250 each for two or more) Large Commemorative Brick: (8” x 8”) $600
Information about the bricks, including inscription options, is available at this link https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/LadueEducationFoundation/CapitalCampaign.html and by contacting lef@ladueschools.net. You can also download the order form here
Join Us To Honor And Celebrate
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Through Community Service!
Old Bonhomme students and families have started collecting socks and hygiene products for our first annual Stuff the Socks event!
Please help in some small way:
Buy a package of NEW tube socks for men, women
or children.
  • Donate hotel soaps, shampoos, conditioners,
    lotion.
  • Buy small travel size packages of: deodorant,
germicide, lotion, wet wipes, toothbrush/ toothpaste, talcum powder, kleenex, cough-drops, vaseline, combs, and chapsticks.
Collection bins are in the front hall, and we will stuff socks full of hygiene products for the homeless on January 16. (more details to come) Note: this event will take the place of our former Socks and Sandwiches event. Sadly homeless shelters are no longer accepting sandwiches.
