OB’s Got Character

Ladue School District is the KIND of district that cares! Character Education is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and our district is getting in on the celebration by encouraging 25 Acts of Kindness. Has your child been performing random acts of kindness? Please be sure to mark them on the pink sheet that went home in your child's Friday Folder last week! Need an extra one? Extra sheets are available in the front office. All completed sheets should be returned to school by the end of February. Thank you KINDly!
Looking Ahead: Please mark your calendars for our annual Fill The Bus event, sponsored by our District Character Education Committee. We will be collecting canned goods starting Monday, March 3, through Wednesday, March 12. Caps For A Cause will take place on Friday, March 7. Students who bring a canned good to school on Friday, March 7, can wear a hat at school that day!

SOAR Recognition
We are excited to finally announce our February SOAR Recognition Celebration! We've been working hard to get it all set up, and plans are in place, so here it is....
For 8 SOAR tickets, your child will have the opportunity to attend February's SOAR Recognition Celebration on March 4, from 3-3:30 pm. The celebration will be a special visit from The Chill hockey team in St. Charles. Their mascot is a polar bear named Shiver, and he will be coming along with players from the Chill hockey team for the visit!
And the fun doesn't end there! Every child who chooses to participate on March 4, will receive a free ticket to a future Chill hockey game.

Scholastic Book Fair
Hopefully you've had a chance to look at the Scholastic Book Fair flyer that came home with your student this week! Use the white envelope attached to the flyer to send in money for your child's book fair purchase and please don't forget to include sales tax in the total amount due.
Our Online Fair is available from 2/24 to 3/2. So even if you can’t make it to the Book Fair, we look forward to having you participate in our Online Fair. And remember, all purchases benefit our school!
