OB's Got Character
February's Character Word of the Month is Compassion. Compassion is the feeling of empathy for others, and it is kind to show compassion. Ladue School District is the KIND of district that cares! Character Education is celebrating it's 25th anniversary, and our district is getting in on the celebration by encouraging 25 Acts of Kindness. Please check your child's Friday Folders for a pink sheet to record acts of kindness. Please return all completed sheets to school by the end of February.
Scholastic Book Fair
It's time for the Scholastic Book Fair
Fiesta!! Our library will be transformed into the book fair the morning of Monday, February 24 and will last through Thursday, February

27. Each class is signed up for a preview day and a buying day. If you'd prefer to visit the book fair with your child, family buying night is Tuesday, February 25 from 5-7:30p.m. We'll also be open bright and early on
Thursday morning, (2/27) starting at 7:30a.m. If you want, you can stop by when you drop your student off at school, just remember to sign in at the office first! Funds raised benefit our library so join us and support our Old Bonhomme readers!
SOAR Recognition
Our January SOAR Recognition Celebration was a huge success! Those who chose to participate had “sno” much fun on Friday, Jan. 31 during lunch! Thank you “sno” much to our very own principal, Mrs. K., Superintendent, Dr. Jahnke and Ladue Board Member, Mrs. Goldstein, for helping make and serve up the sno cones!
February's SOAR Recognition Event will be announced soon, so stay tuned, and please encourage your children to continue to SOAR!
