Message from Ms. Ladue
Attention 2nd Grade Parents! Miss Ladue is in need of pots, pans, lids, and wooden spoons to borrow for the upcoming 2nd grade musical, "Drum Dream Girl." If you are able to lend an item, please write your last name on a piece of masking tape and adhere it to the cookware. We will return the items to you after the production on May 3rd. Many Thanks!
CURE Meeting
The final CURE meeting will be on Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Administrative Center. CURE (Community, Understanding, Respect Education) is a group for parents/guardians of African American students. They meet four times a year. They get district updates from the superintendent and then spend time in networking. Refreshments are provided. We call it "coffee, cookies and conversation." The meetings usually go until 8:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!
Attention OB Book Worms!
The OB library will be open for business this summer and Mrs. Kelley hopes to see you there. Stop by the library on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-12:00, June 1-August 3, to check-out books. This is a great opportunity to meet up with friends over the summer and to browse for good books to read! Make this part of your summer plans!
Parents, be sure to follow Mrs. Kelley on Twitter for the latest library news (@skelley_1).
