Strong Parent Group

Dinner Table Discussion Starters
Research has proven family dinner time is important to our children's development. Periodically you will see dinner discussion starters in our weekly news. This week the emphasis is on a family. What makes a family? Can a family include grandparents? Can a family include someone who is not related to you but you love and like them more than some of your relatives?
Play Day at the Piece Playce
It's time for some springtime Piece Playce! Come and play Sunday, April 10, 3-5 p.m.
Note: This is not a drop-off event. A parent or guardian is required to be present. Siblings are welcome. It might be muddy -- dress appropriately. Questions? Contact Coach Jander at cjander@ladueschools.net

Work is scheduled to begin on the Old Bonhomme Road Restoration Project. The project scope includes sidewalk replacement, new curbs and gutters, pavement mill and overlay, as well as some utility improvements and relocations on Old Bonhomme Road from Price to Olive.
Site preparation and tree removal will begin April 11, and will likely take one week to complete. The work zone for this phase is Price to Olive (the entire length of the project).
Beginning April 18, the next phase of construction will begin, requiring the closure of one lane of Old Bonhomme Road from Price Road to Dielman Road. Traffic on that stretch of Old Bonhomme will be restricted to one way westbound. Sidewalk and gutter work will be started from Price Road west on the SOUTH side of Old Bonhomme. Although the area right around Old Bonhomme School is not directly in the construction beginning April 18, it will impact us indirectly so please be patient and aware. We will keep you updated through the newsletter as information is shared with us.
There will be a public meeting on April 6, at 7pm at City Hall to address questions and explain the project further. This project is funded by the City Capital Projects Fund and a grant from the Federal Highway Administration administered by MODoT.
