OFFICE REMINDERS
Parents, just a reminder that when your child stays home sick please include the office in your email to the teacher in case the teacher is absent or does not check their messages right away. If you are requesting missed work to be sent home, please give your child’s teacher a days notice to get this together for pick up in the office or sent home with a sibling that evening. Also, please remember that meetings with a teacher must be pre-arranged, as they may already have a meeting scheduled. Thank you for respecting their classroom time.

Our annual year-end boxtops submission is March 2, so we need all boxtops to OB by February 27! If you collect boxtops after February 27, we still want them, they will just go towards our next submission in the Fall.
Read All About It!
It’s OB’s Book Bucks Program!
What is it? Book Bucks is an annual program sponsored by your OBPTO to ensure that every child receives a “just right” book for them to keep!
When is it? At February’s Scholastic Book Fair in the OB Library.
How does it work? First, The OBPTO purchases a large selection of books, for all ages and abilities, at the Scholastic Warehouse Sale in December. Then, in February, upon exiting the book fair EVERY child receives a “book buck” that they can spend to purchase one book of their choice at the Book Bucks table.
Owning a book is a big step to becoming a life- long reader and lover of books!
