OB’s Book Bucks Program!
What is it? Book Bucks is an annual program sponsored by your OBPTO to ensure that every child receives a “just right” book for them to keep!
When is it? During the Scholastic Book Fair in the OB Library.
How does it work? First, The OBPTO purchases a large selection of books for all ages and abilities, at the Scholastic Warehouse Sale in December. Then in February, upon exiting the book fair EVERY child receives a “book buck” that they can spend to purchase one book of their choice at the Book Bucks table.
Owning a book is a big step to becoming a life- long reader and lover of books!

SAFETY REMINDERS
No Cell Phone Use (including Texting) on the school parking lot during arrival and dismissal. Let’s all focus on the children and adults helping them.
If you pull into a parking space in the morning, you need to walk your child through the moving traffic to reach the canopy. Children should not be moving unaccompanied through the parking lot while other cars are dropping off.
BoxTops Reminder
Our annual year-end boxtops submission is March 2, so we need all boxtops to OB by February 27! If you collect boxtops after February 27, we still want them, they will just go towards our next submission in the Fall.
