Get Ready for Socks and Sandwiches!
Parents, we need your help with our annual community service event to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We are asking families to bring items to help us make sandwiches for area homeless shelters. Please bring in your items by Friday, January 15 for our event on Monday, January 18. Your ingredient donation in any amount brings us one sandwich closer to feeding a need, so please come lend a hand in Old Bonhomme’s cafeteria at 9 a.m. on Monday. Please remember children must be accompanied by an adult.
Donated assignments:
Kindergarten: Packaged Sliced Ham or Bologna Grade 1: Packaged Sliced Turkey
Grade 2: Sliced Bread
Grade 3: Packaged Sliced American Cheese Grade 4: Packaged Sliced Turkey or Ham

Also, now through January 15, those wishing to participate can donate new socks. The
new socks should be delivered to your child’s classroom. Please choose tube socks in large sizes for either men, women, or children. Any questions contact Mrs. Wright at

LEF Initiatives and Capital Campaign
With more than nine years of work dedicated to enhancing the excellence of the Ladue School District, the Ladue Education Foundation (LEF) is continuing to provide extraordinary learning opportunities to our students through teacher grants for programs in neuroscience, character education, music, art, computer coding, 3D modeling, and much more.
In addition, the LEF is raising awareness and funds to support the Ladue School District’s proposed high school renovation.
"We are fully engaged in helping the district in its efforts regarding this crucial initiative," explains LEF Executive Director Kristen Wild. The LEF has already raised close to $2 million in pledges in the first phase of its capital campaign to support the proposed renovation of Ladue Horton Watkins High School.
